St. Ansgar Scrapbooking &
Quilting Retreat House

Wisteria House

Wisteria House was built in 1915 by August Janzow for Robert Bruenning. It features two joining stair cases, quarter sawn oak woodwork on the main floor and maple on the second floor. The house also features an upgraded second floor bathroom, kitchen cabinetry, original light fixtures, beautiful built-ins and several huge pocket doors that still work flawlessly on the hardware originally installed.  The home is situated on an over-sized corner lot and includes a beautiful Wisteria covered pergola next to the garage that was converted from the original carriage house.
